Wasteland

Welcome to Wasteland

The weather is finally showing (serious), signs that this summer will eventually end, and the sun will make way for the rain, or golf balls of hail...

Our suppliers are definitely preparing us for the colder months, dropping their lastest collections from Australia and the globe into Wasteland... with much more to come over the next few weeks, but we’ll let you know as it arrives!

ACNE!

Acne has been trickling in to Wasteland over the past few months, but we are excited to present their first Men’s and Women’s collection drop, the POP Classics diffusion line and women’s denim, to accompany our huge men’s denim range.

From the bottom to the top, one thing is for sure, the collection is completely wearable by a broad scope of consumers. It’s faultless.

SURFACE TO AIR PARIS

Surface 2 Air Collection, continues with their strong signature silhouette. Made up of slim denim, suiting and knitwear, Tees, and a stunning women’s line, with edgy black dresses, and tops.

Off the back of the opening of their new Parisian boutique, Surface to Air are expecting big things throughout 2010.

THERESE RAWSTHORNE

Eclectic range of light wood blazers & cropped pants, flaring silk, cami’s knitwear, and a standout printed sleeved dress. The collection favours a palette of pale grey, blush, navy and lavender with easy to wear, easy to layer pieces in natural fabrics and flattering cuts.

The collection is called “Intimacy” and is in store now.

KSUBI

This edgy new collection features Ksubi’s signature distressed cut-offs in a new washed out dusty blue, and acid wash black, printed dresses and tee’s as well as the tattoo body suit recently featured in Rush.

“Fuck fashion, lets smoke menthols”, “Get High”, and “this is not love park” are just some of Ksubi phrases that will ensure this collection is going to sell fast!

SASS & BIDE

Australian label sass & bide has always been a favourite with waifish women thanks to their tights and slim jeans but Beyonce has demonstrated that killer curves are also covered with ease by the popular brand.

Destiny's favourite child turned up at the MTV Awards in Berlin to collect two gongs wearing a sass & bide Higher Ground dress from their latest collection, in store now at Wasteland.

UNITED CONTRUCTIONS

Maintaining a philosophy of grunge, wit and glamour, this brand takes on a more creative and unique approach. United constructions is a directional label that pushes all boundaries.

The Perth based designers behind the brand draw on their sense of humour when designing and tend to never take life too seriously.

Their AW10 collection has just debuted in Wasteland.

MUSE AUDIO

Introducing a range of 12 headphones, each with their own distinct identity. MUSE caters to everyone’s needs; from the stylish to sporty, their headphones deliver on the promise to provide quality, individual sound for everyone.

With names like, THE HITMAN, THE ATHLETE, THE CARPENTER, THE SOCIALITE, THE ARCHITETCT & THE DISK JOCKEY, this range has a suitably aesthetic, and practical product for everyone!

WORLD OF WASTELAND

Los Angeles based French street artist, Mr. Brainwash (aka Thierry Guetta), celebrated his first solo show in New York last month with a private opening for all of the beautiful people. This body of work is the result of travelling throughout Europe and the United States as the subject of Banksy's new documentary, Exit Through the Gift Shop.

Held in a two story converted gallery space the show features pop portraits, prints, and engaging large scale sculptures.

Watch the vid of the opening below or check some of Mr Brainwash’ best in the Wasteland Gallery.
